Technique Refinement:

Skating treadmills allow players to focus on their form and technique under controlled conditions. It's an environment where players can receive immediate feedback and make adjustments in real-time.

Conditioning:

Just like traditional treadmills, skating treadmills can be an excellent tool for aerobic workouts, helping players build cardiovascular endurance specific to their sport.

Enhanced Balance and Agility:

Skating on a treadmill challenges players’ balance and agility, helping them become more stable on the ice.

Stride Improvement:

By training on a skating treadmill, players have the opportunity to work on increasing stride length and power, leading to faster skating speeds on the ice.

Muscle Memory:

Repetition on a skating treadmill can reinforce good habits and build muscle memory, ensuring players employ proper technique even under game pressure.

Customized Workouts:

Coaches can design individualized workouts to target specific aspects of skating, such as speed, acceleration, or lateral movement.

Instant Feedback:

Our skating treadmills incorporate video analysis, providing immediate feedback on a player’s form and allowing for quick adjustments.

Injury Rehabilitation:

Skating treadmills offer a safe means of injury rehabilitation to help players regain strength and confidence on their skates while minimizing the risk of further injury.

Quicker Progress:

With focused training and feedback, players can make quicker progress in their skating skills compared to traditional on-ice training alone.

Efficiency:

With the concentrated nature of treadmill workouts, players can achieve intense training in shorter sessions compared to on-ice practices.

Benefits of Skating Treadmill Training

WHAT MAKES OUR TREADMILL TRAINING DIFFERENT

  • Our treadmills are imported from HDTS in Slovakia, who have built more than 50 training centers worldwide

  • We are the only facility in Ontario with two treadmills side by side, allowing players to pass and shoot in stride

  • Our sessions are booked privately, and will always be 1 on 1 unless the customer brings other skaters.

  • We have two cameras and three screens to provide unprecedented feedback and training tools, including peripheral vision training and shooting targets on our sensor enabled net.

  • We offer computer generated AI feedback.

  • Very few skating treadmills offer the amount of space that we do to allow for shooting at a net in stride.

  • There is no gap at the front of our treadmills, allowing pucks to be pulled on and off the treadmill surface while skating.
